In the 6th minute, Douglas Zaldaña fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 7 minutes into the game, Nelson Villacorta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Easingwold's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wootton Bassett AFC the free kick. If Fidel Najarro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 15 minutes, Fidel Najarro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wootton Bassett AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fidel Najarro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 17th minute Douglas Zaldaña shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angel Lovo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wootton Bassett AFC's Jairo Medina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Madariaga in the 20th minute of play. If Fidel Najarro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fidel Najarro took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Angel Lovo. Angel Lovo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Luis Madariaga took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jairo Medina. Jairo Medina dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Jairo Medina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Navas in the 34th minute of the match. Alexander Padilla charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexander Padilla the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Wootton Bassett AFC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Alexander Padilla hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Navas in the 36th minute of play forced Wootton Bassett AFC's goalkeeper Jairo Medina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexander Padilla was shown his second yellow card after 38 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Nelson Villacorta took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 40th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jairo Medina. Wootton Bassett AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jairo Medina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Navas in the 42nd minute of the match. If Fidel Najarro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 47 minutes into the match, Wootton Bassett AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Navas came free, but Jairo Medina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pedro Navas made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Fidel Najarro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wootton Bassett AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fidel Najarro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angel Lovo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luis Madariaga hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute Fidel Najarro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angel Lovo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 59th play minutes Gabriel Mejia shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Angel Lovo and just under the crossbar into goal. Pedro Navas struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Jairo Medina didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Easingwold. After 72 minutes, Odir Del Cid mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Easingwold and the Wootton Bassett AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Wootton Bassett AFC booed when Easingwold was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Odir Del Cid didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gabriel Mejia charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gabriel Mejia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 77th minute, Gabriel Mejia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nelson Villacorta, 78 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Pablo Del Carmen kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Pedro Navas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jairo Medina having to interfere. Leopoldo Granados hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. If Gabriel Mejia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Wootton Bassett AFC had won after a very even match.
