Edwin Uranga hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Henry Serrano might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Daniel Peredes. Jose Carranza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Peredes having to interfere. Daniel Peredes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Henry Serrano's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Waterloo and South Bank's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
