Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Misael Najarro started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marvin Alas in the 2nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edwin Espindola prevented the ball from getting in the gole. William Larios hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marvin Alas in the 10th minute of play forced Malton United's goalkeeper Edwin Espindola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edwin Espindola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angel Palencia in the 21st minute of play. Orlando Rivas struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Andrés Escobar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malton United. In the 29th minute Marvin Alas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edwin Espindola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Angel Palencia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Malton United's Edwin Espindola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marvin Alas in the 41st minute of play. Angel Palencia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Edwin Espindola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marvin Alas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Angel Palencia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Edwin Espindola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edwin Espindola made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Angel Palencia sent off a good shot on target. Andrés Escobar came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Malton United's Carmelo Viscarra. But to his dismay, Carmelo Viscarra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Carmelo Viscarra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 74 played minutes Malton United got a freekick which was hit by Carmelo Viscarra. In the 75th minute, Stratford's Marvin Alas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Misael Najarro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 82 minutes into the game, Selvin Valenzuela was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stratford's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Malton United the free kick. In the 82nd minute, Selvin Valenzuela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Malton United's Alexander Velis couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Stratford. 87 minutes into the match, Angel Palencia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edwin Espindola. Malton United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Angel Palencia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. The Stratford players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
