Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rolando Barrera took the kick off in the first half of the match. Trowell's Ernesto Talia got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Christian Hinguanzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolando Barrera in the 7th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Leopoldo Machado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edgar Vinosis was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Jhalmar Mendoza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Vinosis having to interfere. When Jhalmar Mendoza came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Leigh United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jhalmar Mendoza couldn't finish the play. In the 16th minute Rolando Barrera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Hinguanzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute Rolando Fornos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Hinguanzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Trowell's goal looked a bit too open when Jhalmar Mendoza came free, but Edgar Vinosis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jhalmar Mendoza in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edgar Vinosis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edgar Vinosis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jhalmar Mendoza, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Raúl Guerrero charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raúl Guerrero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Raúl Guerrero hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute, Raúl Guerrero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee gave Leigh United a penalty, 34 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Emiliano Braun, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Trowell's Edgar Vinosis. 0-1. In the 38th minute, Trowell's Max Lima seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Max Lima the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Trowell protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Max Lima had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 37th minute of the game. One of Trowell:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Leigh United:s goal. With a little luck, Leigh United's Christian Hinguanzo got control of the ball when Ernesto Talia tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 46th match minute, Leigh United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Castaneda to maneuver through the defense. If Ernesto Talia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Trowell players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Leigh United were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jhalmar Mendoza to make the kick off. Leopoldo Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Vinosis having to interfere. Leopoldo Machados short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got Edgar Vinosis to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Edgar Vinosis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jhalmar Mendoza showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 62 minute of play. Rolando Fornos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Hinguanzo having to interfere. Emiliano Braun hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. The audience held their breath when Nelson Toledano in the 71st minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Christian Hinguanzo's left hand side. After a defensive mix-up in Leigh United's zone, Ernesto Talia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Hinguanzo came out of the goal and Ernesto Talia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 81 played minutes Trowell got a freekick which was hit by Nelson Toledano. Ernesto Talia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Christian Hinguanzo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Trowell's Ernesto Talia got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ernesto Talia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 91 minutes, Ernesto Talia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trowell's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernesto Talia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 93rd minute, Rolando Fornos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Christian Hinguanzo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. After a defensive mix-up in Leigh United's zone, Ernesto Talia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Hinguanzo came out of the goal and Ernesto Talia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Leigh United players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
