Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Libardo Amaya got the match started through his kick off. Libardo Amaya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yatton City's Dennys Costas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Yatton City from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Matlock's Andrés Alvarenga got a free kick in the 20th minute. Libardo Amaya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Dennys Costas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matlock's Alberto Peña got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dennys Costas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Libardo Amaya in the 43rd minute of play. If Francisco Barraza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Misael Baptista made a kick off. Selvin Noyola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Julio Guerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ramon Baptista fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Matlock's protests and gave Ramon Baptista a yellow card for diving instead. Ramon Baptista kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Matlock's goalkeeper Julio Guerra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Libardo Amaya in the 71st minute of play forced Yatton City's goalkeeper Dennys Costas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Libardo Amaya kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Andrés Alvarenga kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 80th minute, Andrés Alvarenga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Selvin Noyola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 84 minutes, Selvin Noyola managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yatton City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Selvin Noyola was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Selvin Noyola blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Guerra having to make a save. When Selvin Noyola came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Yatton City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Selvin Noyola couldn't finish the play. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Matlock were victorious despite being under pressure from Yatton City for much of the match.
