Esteban Quijada started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Archway AFC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Salvador Carranza hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Verdugo in the 18th minute of play forced Newquay AFC's goalkeeper Christian Rodriguez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Nunes charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcos Nunes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 24th minute, Ramon Leiva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Libardo Escobar kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Ulises Villanueva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hugo Verdugo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Christian Rodriguez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christian Rodriguez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Verdugo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ramon Leiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alonso Suarez having to interfere. Ramon Leiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Alonso Suarez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hugo Verdugo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Ovidio Bonilla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ramon Leiva struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Alonso Suarez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Newquay AFC. In the 65th minute, Ramon Leiva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Archway AFC's Alonso Suarez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteban Quijada in the 68th minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Ulises Villanueva had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christian Rodriguez. Newquay AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ulises Villanueva was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Christian Rodriguez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Verdugo in the 77th minute of the match. After 77 minutes, Edgardo Orozco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Newquay AFC and the Archway AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 78 minutes into the match, Newquay AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Verdugo came free, but Christian Rodriguez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Esteban Quijada managed to get in a good position for a shot. Newquay AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Esteban Quijada was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Archway AFC.
