Accrington AFC's Avilio Reyes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Orellana in the 2nd minute of play. Cristian Pérez's late challenge caught a Walmley City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristian Pérez helped the player get up and apologised. After 3 played minutes Accrington AFC got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Pérez. Marvin Mejia lost his temper 7 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 6th minute of the game. One of Walmley City:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Accrington AFC:s goal. Yasir Renderos shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Emerson Peña in the 11thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jhonnatan Talia, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Abraham Carballo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Jhonnatan Talia when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emerson Peña in the 18th minute of play forced Walmley City's goalkeeper Jhonnatan Talia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the game, Danilo Liborio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Walmley City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Accrington AFC the free kick. In the 18th minute, one of Walmley City:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Walmley City. The goalkeeper, Jhonnatan Talia, was totally fooled by Accrington AFC's Yasir Renderos, who 20 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After having played for 24 minutes, Baltazar Moreno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Accrington AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baltazar Moreno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Emerson Peña managed to get in a good position for a shot. Accrington AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Emerson Peña was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jhonnatan Talia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jhonnatan Talia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benji Quintanilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baltazar Moreno in the 29thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jhonnatan Talia, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 34th minute, Baltazar Moreno fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 39th minute, Benji Quintanilla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Walmley City's goalkeeper Jhonnatan Talia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 43 minutes of play, Accrington AFC's Omar Navarro made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jhonnatan Talia was left in no man's land by his defense there! David Ochoa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Jhonnatan Talia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and David Orellana made a kick off. Accrington AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Emerson Peña was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jhonnatan Talia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Walmley City defense, Baltazar Moreno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jhonnatan Talia. The Walmley City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jhonnatan Talia should have stopped the shot. The attack was good, but when Emerson Peña in the 59th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Jhonnatan Talia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abraham Carballo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 61 played minutes Walmley City got a freekick which was hit by William Del Cid. Baltazar Moreno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jhonnatan Talia having to interfere. Baltazar Moreno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abraham Carballo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Jhonnatan Talia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, Walmley City's goal looked a bit too open when Emerson Peña came free, but Jhonnatan Talia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abraham Carballo scored 4-0 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jhonnatan Talia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 78th minute, Emerson Peña left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Accrington AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Baltazar Moreno sped through Walmley City's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jhonnatan Talia. When Abraham Carballo came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Accrington AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abraham Carballo couldn't finish the play. In the 87thth minute of the game Emerson Peña who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Walmley City's Jhonnatan Talia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Walmley City's goal looked a bit too open when Benji Quintanilla came free, but Jhonnatan Talia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jhonnatan Talia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benji Quintanilla, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 93rd minute Cristian Pérez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jhonnatan Talia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Accrington AFC's goal looked a bit too open when William Del Cid came free, but Avilio Reyes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jhonnatan Talia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abraham Carballo's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. There was no doubt that Accrington AFC were the better team. Accrington AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
