Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Pablo Barragan got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Lymm United's goalkeeper Oswaldo Braun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicolás Rivera. Victor Menjivar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Melendez, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Nicolás Rivera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 16 minutes into the game, Nicolás Rivera was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cheshunt's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lymm United the free kick. The supporters of Lymm United booed when Cheshunt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolás Rivera didn't get a good kick on the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Cheshunt's Nicolás Rivera sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oswaldo Braun narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Oswaldo Guerrero's late challenge caught a Cheshunt's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oswaldo Guerrero helped the player get up and apologised. In the 24th minute, Oswaldo Guerrero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 25 minutes into the match, Cheshunt's Julio Escalante broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Cheshunt's Pablo Barragan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Oswaldo Braun. That made the score 1-1 after 26 minutes of play. Nicolás Rivera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oswaldo Braun having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Joselito Boianelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th minute of the match, Pablo Barragan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Oswaldo Braun saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Baltazar Ruiz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Pablo Barragan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oswaldo Braun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pablo Barragan hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Pablo Barragan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oswaldo Braun having to interfere. Joselito Boianelli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 61 minutes into the match, Lymm United's goal looked a bit too open when Joselito Boianelli came free, but Oswaldo Braun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Cheshunt getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Joselito Boianelli hit a great ball. The long shot by Shawn Boianelli in the 65th minute really tested Victor Menjivar's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 69 minutes into the match, Lymm United's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Barragan came free, but Oswaldo Braun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pablo Barragan might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oswaldo Braun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pablo Barragan ran back to his position shaking his head. 77 minutes into the game, Cheshunt's Pablo Barragan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Oswaldo Braun made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Nicolás Rivera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oswaldo Braun having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, Lymm United's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Barragan came free, but Oswaldo Braun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Cheshunt's Victor Menjivar got control of the ball when Claudio Melendez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Henry Villarreal charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Henry Villarreal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some careless play in the Cheshunt defense, Claudio Melendez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Victor Menjivar. The Cheshunt fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victor Menjivar should have stopped the shot. Claudio Melendez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 96 played minutes Cheshunt got a freekick which was hit by Henry Villarreal. The audience was convinced that Baltazar Ruiz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victor Menjivar was relentless in the 98th minute of the game. For all the effort they put into the match, the Lymm United players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cheshunt.
