Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mariano Brizuela started the match with the kick off. Ladislao Brizuela charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ladislao Brizuela the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 5th minute of the game. One of Millbrook United:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Great Totham:s goal. If Mariano Brizuela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th minute, Joselito Olmedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 15 minutes, Efren Erazo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Great Totham's supporters crossed their fingers, but Efren Erazo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emiliano Serrano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Brizuela in the 16th minute of the match. In the 18th minute Mariano Brizuela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Serrano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Great Totham's goalkeeper Richard Canales, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Odir Paredes came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Millbrook United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Odir Paredes couldn't finish the play. In the 30th minute Mariano Brizuela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Serrano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Jose Orobio notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Great Totham's Richard Canales. Richard Canales was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Mariano Brizuela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emiliano Serrano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Efren Erazo in the 39th minute. Ladislao Brizuela got his second yellow card in the match during the 40th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 41st match minute, Millbrook United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ladislao Brizuela to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd minute, Efren Erazo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Richard Canales took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Odir Paredes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Efren Erazo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Emiliano Serrano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Odir Paredes to make the kick off. Efren Erazo might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emiliano Serrano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Efren Erazo ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mariano Brizuela in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emiliano Serrano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Daniel Del Cid fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Canales having to interfere. Mariano Brizuela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mariano Brizuela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Emiliano Serrano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Del Cid could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Richard Canales made a huge save. Mariano Brizuela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Serrano having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Odir Paredes in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. Efren Erazo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emiliano Serrano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Efren Erazo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emiliano Serrano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joselito Flamenco in the 79th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Efren Erazo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emiliano Serrano was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Mariano Brizuela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Emiliano Serrano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Great Totham fans cheered their team off the field, for while Millbrook United had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
