Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jose Orobio made the kick off which started today's match. Emiliano Serrano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efren Henriquez in the 10th minute of play. Odir Paredes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Amilcar Santana when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With his leg Amilcar Santana managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Millbrook United's Odir Paredes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 26 minutes into the game, Jose Orobio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Amilcar Santana. Jose Orobio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Efren Henriquez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mariano Magaña during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ladislao Brizuela charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ladislao Brizuela the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 34th match minute, Millbrook United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ladislao Brizuela to maneuver through the defense. Efren Henriquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Emiliano Serrano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emiliano Serrano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaac Hinguanzo in the 39th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 51st minute, Isaac Hinguanzo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emiliano Serrano was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Efren Henriquez showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 57 minute of play. Pablo Boianelli took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 63rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Amilcar Santana. Gomersal's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 64th minute Jose Orobio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amilcar Santana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Isaac Hinguanzo came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Gomersal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isaac Hinguanzo couldn't finish the play. When Daniel Del Cid fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Millbrook United's protests and gave Daniel Del Cid a yellow card for diving instead. After 71 played minutes Millbrook United got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Del Cid. 71 minutes into the match, Edgardo Liborio sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Emiliano Serrano threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Edgardo Liborio this time. In the 73rd minute Odir Paredes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amilcar Santana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emiliano Serrano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Efren Henriquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. It was beautiful to see Millbrook United's Mariano Magaña in action when he in the 83rd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! If Jose Orobio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ladislao Brizuela was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 89 minutes had been played. In the 90th minute, Ladislao Brizuela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Isaac Hinguanzo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gomersal's supporters rose to their feet, but Isaac Hinguanzo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emiliano Serrano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Gomersal booed when Millbrook United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Ocampo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
