After a defensive mix-up in Derry Hill's zone, Jonathan Najarro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zelvin Sosa came out of the goal and Jonathan Najarro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zelvin Sosa came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Burnley's Deris Salinas. But to his dismay, Deris Salinas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 13 played minutes Derry Hill got a freekick which was hit by Odir Carballo. Zelvin Sosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Najarro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpected shot in the 17th minute by Josue Espindola got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Burnley's Leonel Lozano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josue Espindola in the 19th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Josue Espindola's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonel Lozano was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Josue Espindola didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-1 via right post in the game's 21st minute. Derry Hill's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! With his leg Leonel Lozano managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when Derry Hill's Odir Carballo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 26th minute, Deris Salinas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute Josue Espindola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonel Lozano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 31 minutes, Jonathan Najarro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Burnley's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonathan Najarro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 33 minutes into the game, Burnley's Deris Salinas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zelvin Sosa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. A hard shot by Ruben Costas from long distance, 37 minutes into the match, got Leonel Lozano's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Zelvin Sosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Najarro in the 40th minute of the match. 42 minutes into the game, Marcelo Aguilar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Derry Hill's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Burnley the free kick. In the 42nd minute, Marcelo Aguilar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jonathan Najarro was the one to do the kick off. If Selvin Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Burnley fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when Burnley's Jonathan Najarro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 68 minutes into the game, Selvin Barragan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Derry Hill's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Burnley the free kick. After 68 played minutes Derry Hill got a freekick which was hit by Selvin Barragan. After some careless play in the Derry Hill defense, Deris Salinas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zelvin Sosa. The Derry Hill fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zelvin Sosa should have stopped the shot. Zelvin Sosa came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Burnley's Deris Salinas. But to his dismay, Deris Salinas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Deris Salinas in the 77thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Zelvin Sosa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Zelvin Sosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Najarro in the 81st minute of the match. Pedro Ramirez hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match.
