Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) 7 minutes into the match, Josue Espindola notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Burgess Hill's Leopoldo Mora. Leopoldo Mora was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Odir Carballo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Leopoldo Mora tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leopoldo Mora took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josue Espindola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes into the game, Guillermo Canales was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Burgess Hill's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Derry Hill the free kick. In the 23rd match minute, Burgess Hill was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Canales to maneuver through the defense. 24 minutes into the match, Burgess Hill's goal looked a bit too open when Odir Carballo came free, but Leopoldo Mora reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jose Fernandez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alberto Campos during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alberto Campos kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Josue Espindola managed to get in a good position for a shot. Derry Hill's supporters rose to their feet, but Josue Espindola was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leopoldo Mora breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leopoldo Mora made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Villacorta in the 41st minute of play. In the 45th match minute, Derry Hill was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Odir Carballo to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Milton Gallardo to strike the kick off in the second half. Milton Gallardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 55 minutes into the match, Derry Hill's goal looked a bit too open when Milton Gallardo came free, but Zelvin Sosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jose Fernandez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zelvin Sosa having to make a save. Derry Hill's Roberto Villacorta got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leopoldo Mora made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Odir Carballo sent off a good shot on target. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by Burgess Hill's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Selvin Barragan was slow to take the kick. During this time Derry Hill's players had a chance to rest. Selvin Barragan made a great header on Derry Hill's corner, it was just that Burgess Hill's Leopoldo Mora managed to reach the ball for a save. Guillermo Canales kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. If Josue Espindola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Odir Carballo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 71stth minute, Leopoldo Mora skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Josue Espindola's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leopoldo Mora read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. When Josue Espindola came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Derry Hill fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Josue Espindola couldn't finish the play. Leopoldo Mora showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josue Espindola in the 78th minute of the match. When Odir Carballo came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Derry Hill fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Odir Carballo couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Derry Hill booed when Burgess Hill was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Campos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Milton Gallardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Zelvin Sosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Derry Hill players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
