The crowd rose to their feet as Aldbrough FC's Rene Del Carmen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Richard Osorio. That made the score 2-1 after 26 minutes of play. In the 31stth minute of the game Rene Del Carmen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brixham City's Richard Osorio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rene Del Carmen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Richard Osorio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. After 48th play minutes Pedro Baptista shot 2-2, a short shot which went by Arnoldo Rico and just under the crossbar into goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rene Del Carmen made a kick off. Arnoldo Rico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolando Anaya, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After 71 minutes, Mario Cabrera mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aldbrough FC and the Brixham City players grew even worse after the yellow card. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Arnoldo Rico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolando Anaya in the 88th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rene Del Carmen in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Richard Osorio saved Brixham City from getting behind. Aldbrough FC's Arnoldo Rico proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Aldbrough FC from getting a goal against them. Rene Del Carmen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
