Nelson Melendez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paolo Erazo in the 5th minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, Mariano Rojas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nelson Melendez. Countesthorpe City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariano Rojas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 1-1 became the score in the 15th minute when Rudy Ocampo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Belper United's Dagoberto Ulloa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudy Ocampo in the 30th minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Belper United's goal looked a bit too open when Erick Vinosis came free, but Dagoberto Ulloa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The long shot by Ronald Pineda in the 35th minute really tested Nelson Melendez's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Paolo Erazo struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Nelson Melendez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Belper United. Mariano Rojas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Countesthorpe City getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Erick Vinosis hit a great ball. Paolo Erazo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Nelson Melendez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rudy Ocampo to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 57 minutes, Paolo Erazo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Belper United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paolo Erazo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Eliseo Del Cid fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Countesthorpe City's protests and gave Eliseo Del Cid a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Rojas in the 59th minute of play forced Countesthorpe City's goalkeeper Nelson Melendez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Januario Ocampo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dagoberto Ulloa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Januario Ocampo went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Januario Ocampos short, quick shot in the 68thth minute got Dagoberto Ulloa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 70th minute Rudy Ocampo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dagoberto Ulloa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Januario Ocampo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ladislao Asad hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. The long shot by Saul Escobar in the 83rd minute really tested Dagoberto Ulloa's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 93 minutes into the match, Countesthorpe City's goal looked a bit too open when Paolo Erazo came free, but Nelson Melendez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mariano Rojas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th match minute, Countesthorpe City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Max Alvarado to maneuver through the defense. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
