Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Max Brizuela made the kick off which started today's match. Armando Bustamante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Max Brizuela in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Ronald Villatoro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Primitivo Pinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Orellana, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Max Brizuela in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Armando Bustamante saved Whickham City from getting behind. In the 22nd match minute, Standish was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Max Brizuela to maneuver through the defense. Armando Bustamante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Max Brizuela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ovidio Mendez during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Whickham City getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Ovidio Mendez hit a great ball. Waldir Palencia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Armando Bustamante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Standish's Max Brizuela got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Max Brizuela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Bustamante having to interfere. Waldir Palencia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Armando Bustamante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Standish's Guillermo Anaya got a free kick in the 41st minute. If Christian Galdamez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Ronald Villatoro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roberto Orellana was the one to do the kick off. Whickham City's Armando Bustamante proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Whickham City from getting a goal against them. Waldir Palencia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Armando Bustamante made a huge save. Baltazar Hernández's late challenge caught a Whickham City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baltazar Hernández helped the player get up and apologised. Baltazar Hernández hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After 58 minutes, Waldir Palencia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Standish and the Whickham City players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 58 played minutes Standish got a freekick which was hit by Waldir Palencia. Waldir Palencia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th minute, Christian Guardado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hector Jimenez, 69 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Christian Galdamez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Primitivo Pinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Waldir Palencia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Armando Bustamante having to make a save. With a little luck, Whickham City's Armando Bustamante got control of the ball when Waldir Palencia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Armando Bustamante made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Waldir Palencia sent off a good shot on target. Waldir Palencia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Armando Bustamante made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Christian Giron during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Armando Bustamante acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 92nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Nicolás Murgas. Standish's Alonso Coreas got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
