Douglas Ruiz made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Josue Villarreal sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Umaña in the 8th minute of play forced Eastbourne's goalkeeper Douglas Ruiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Josue Villarreal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Douglas Ruiz made a huge save. The supporters of Eastbourne booed when Waterfoot was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando Santana didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute, Alexander Coria sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Waterfoot's Richard Salguero didn't even have to move. Richard Salguero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efren Alvarenga in the 22nd minute of play. When Efren Alvarenga came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Eastbourne fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Efren Alvarenga couldn't finish the play. 28 minutes into the match, Eastbourne's Pablo Barraza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Richard Salguero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Orlando Santana kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Antonio Barreto kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Josue Villarreal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Douglas Ruiz having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Waterfoot's goal looked a bit too open when Efren Alvarenga came free, but Richard Salguero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Vasquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Richard Salguero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Waterfoot getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Orlando Santana hit a great ball. Pablo Barraza struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Richard Salguero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eastbourne. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
Waterfoot's Richard Salguero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Efren Alvarenga in the 57th minute of play. Pablo Barraza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Salguero having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Waterfoot's zone, Efren Alvarenga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Richard Salguero came out of the goal and Efren Alvarenga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pablo Barraza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Richard Salguero having to make a save. The supporters of Eastbourne booed when Waterfoot was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Posadas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Eastbourne's Alexander Coria tried to score from far away in the 84th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Pablo Barraza's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 88thth minute, Richard Salguero skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Antonio Barreto during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Eastbourne booed when Waterfoot was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Barreto didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Eastbourne's Alexander Coria got a free kick in the 96th minute. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
