Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Camilo Martinez started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Jhonnatan Medina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nelson Ulloa in the 4th minute of play. In the 8th minute of the match Andover AFC got a corner. North Shields's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fidel Fornos ran over to the corner to take the kick. Fidel Fornos made a great header on Andover AFC's corner, it was just that North Shields's Jhonnatan Medina managed to reach the ball for a save. After 10 played minutes North Shields got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Martinez. When Andover AFC's Ovidio Gomez in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye North Shields's goalie prevented a goal. 20 minutes into the match, Eliseo Villalobos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ulises Costas. Andover AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eliseo Villalobos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Andover AFC's zone, Eliseo Villalobos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ulises Costas came out of the goal and Eliseo Villalobos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Camilo Martinez took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Ulises Costas to make any attempt to save it. Nelson Ulloa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Jhonnatan Medina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 32 minutes, Ovidio Gomez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Andover AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ovidio Gomez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 36 minutes of play, Andover AFC's Ovidio Gomez made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jhonnatan Medina was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 40th minute Camilo Martinez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulises Costas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ulises Costas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eliseo Villalobos in the 47th minute. Jhonnatan Medina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ovidio Gomez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nelson Ulloa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Avilio Bran hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Ovidio Gomez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Jhonnatan Medina when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 56 minutes into the match, North Shields's goal looked a bit too open when Nelson Ulloa came free, but Jhonnatan Medina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Nelson Ulloa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jhonnatan Medina was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. In the 58th minute, Augusto Aguirrez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. North Shields's Jhonnatan Medina proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save North Shields from getting a goal against them. Andover AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave North Shields the free kick. Carmelo Rodriguez kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eliseo Villalobos in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ulises Costas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 71 minutes, Eliseo Villalobos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. North Shields's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliseo Villalobos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind North Shields's goalkeeper Jhonnatan Medina, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nelson Ulloa in the 78th minute of play forced North Shields's goalkeeper Jhonnatan Medina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andover AFC's Ulises Costas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camilo Martinez in the 79th minute of play. When Carmelo Rodriguez was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 80 minutes had been played. A collision led to Andover AFC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Carmelo Rodriguez hit a great ball. Ulises Costas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camilo Martinez in the 83rd minute of the match. Ulises Costas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Villalobos in the 85th minute of play. Andover AFC's Ulises Costas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camilo Martinez in the 89th minute of play. In the 95th minute, Ovidio Gomez fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. North Shields's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
