After 14 minutes of play, Erith AFC's Jairo Chavez made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abraham Uranga was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Ismael Bermudez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jairo Chavez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ismael Bermudez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Abraham Uranga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rene Cabrera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marvin Peña in the 35th minute of play. When Jonathan Ulloa fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Erith AFC's protests and gave Jonathan Ulloa a yellow card for diving instead. Jonathan Ulloa kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute Jairo Chavez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abraham Uranga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leopoldo Bentos charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jairo Chavez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
