Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) 6 minutes into the match, Erith AFC's goalkeeper Rene Cabrera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Misael Sanchez. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ismael Bermudez in the 9th minute of play forced Old Clipstone United's goalkeeper Ernesto Escobar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ernesto Escobar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Bermudez in the 13th minute of play. Antonio Salinas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rene Cabrera having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Claudio Aguilar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antonio Salinas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Rene Cabrera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ismael Bermudez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 29 minutes, Jairo Chavez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Erith AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jairo Chavez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ismael Bermudez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Old Clipstone United's zone, Jairo Chavez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernesto Escobar came out of the goal and Jairo Chavez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 48 minutes, Ismael Bermudez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Erith AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ismael Bermudez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Antonio Salinas was the one to do the kick off. Jairo Chavez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th minute, Ismael Bermudez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ernesto Escobar was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Erith AFC's Rene Cabrera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Salinas in the 70th minute of play. Claudio Aguilar hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Jairo Chavez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Erith AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jairo Chavez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernesto Escobar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 78 minutes into the match, Erith AFC's Ismael Bermudez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ernesto Escobar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Antonio Salinas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Misael Sanchez during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 89th minute of the match Erith AFC got a corner. Old Clipstone United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Saul Umanzor ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Benji Umanzor heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Ernesto Escobar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Chavez, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 93rd minute Jonathan Gallegos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Cabrera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 97th minute, Jairo Chavez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
