In the 20th minute, Tenbury Wells United's Daniel Zelaya ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Josue Parada. Josue Parada yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. 36 minutes into the match, Efren Salguero notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Milnrow AFC's Josue Parada. Josue Parada was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Edgardo Orobio might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Claudio Alvarez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edgardo Orobio ran back to his position shaking his head. Claudio Alvarez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulises Najarro in the 41st minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.
