The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Carlos Meza came free with the goalkeeper in the 3rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dennys Guevara could save by the left post. Salvador Orobio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Reyes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcelo Reyes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salvador Orobio having to interfere. Zelvin Navarro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee ignored Heathrow Airport AFC's protests and gave Deris Aguirrez a yellow card for diving instead. Ladislao Villarreal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ladislao Villarreal to make the kick off. Marcelo Reyes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Salvador Orobio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Dennys Guevara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ladislao Villarreal in the 61st minute of the match. After 67 minutes of play, New Milton's Salvador Cerna made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dennys Guevara was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dennys Guevara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ladislao Villarreal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcelo Reyes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Heathrow Airport AFC booed when New Milton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvaro Coria didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute, Ladislao Bustamante got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Marcelo Reyes came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Heathrow Airport AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcelo Reyes couldn't finish the play.
