Nelson Meza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolás Aguirrez having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Andrés Díaz managed to get in a good position for a shot. CSD Municipal's supporters rose to their feet, but Andrés Díaz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diego Cetino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Diego Cetino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. CSD Municipal's Allan Victorino got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Allan Victorino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in CSD Municipal's zone, Angel Pinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicolás Aguirrez came out of the goal and Angel Pinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 37th minute, Andrés Sandoval ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Diego Cetino was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. When Andrés Díaz came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the CSD Municipal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrés Díaz couldn't finish the play. If Angel Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Allan Victorino in the 45th minute of play forced North Fambridge FC's goalkeeper Diego Cetino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andrés Sandoval fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Cetino having to interfere. After the first half CSD Municipal were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Diego Cetino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Allan Victorino received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Diego Cetino came out and tried to block the shot, but Allan Victorino slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 73rd minute. Allan Victorino kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Juan Flores received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Diego Cetino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andrés Díaz might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Diego Cetino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andrés Díaz ran back to his position shaking his head. 82 minutes into the game, Richard Giron was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. North Fambridge FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CSD Municipal the free kick. Richard Giron hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, North Fambridge FC's Guillermo Hidalgo got a free kick in the 85th minute. CSD Municipal's Nicolás Aguirrez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angel Pinho in the 88th minute of play. If Allan Victorino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 95 minutes into the match, North Fambridge FC's goal looked a bit too open when Andrés Díaz came free, but Diego Cetino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 96 minutes, Allan Victorino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CSD Municipal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Allan Victorino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Richard Giron hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. When the match was over CSD Municipal could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than North Fambridge FC throughout the match.
