Patricio Garay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Will Cerritos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 9 minutes, Pablo Oporto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cholsey and the Tewkesbury players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 9th minute of the game. One of Cholsey:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tewkesbury:s goal. Hector Monzon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tewkesbury's Patricio Alvarado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Monzon in the 21st minute of play. Nicolás Dubon scored 2-0 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Patricio Garay, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Will Cerritos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patricio Garay having to interfere. Patricio Alvarado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henry Garay, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. When Henry Garay came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Cholsey fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henry Garay couldn't finish the play. After having played for 47 minutes, Nicolás Dubon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tewkesbury's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicolás Dubon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Cholsey's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henry Garay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Hector Monzon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cholsey's supporters rose to their feet, but Hector Monzon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patricio Alvarado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Tewkesbury getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Ricardo Peredes hit a great ball. In the 60th minute Nicolás Dubon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patricio Garay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
