A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronald Huezo in the 18th minute of play forced Hayle's goalkeeper Juan Sifon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafael Sifon charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rafael Sifon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Derry Hill's Rafael Sifon got a free kick in the 25th minute. Erick Corpeño took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giovani Nunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juan Sifon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronald Huezo in the 31st minute of play. A collision led to Hayle getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Paolo Salguero hit a great ball. In the 34th minute, Paolo Salguero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mauricio Leguizamon struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Erick Corpeño didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hayle. 38 minutes into the match, Derry Hill's goal looked a bit too open when Giovani Nunes came free, but Erick Corpeño reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hayle's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Ronald Huezo scored to the left of an out of position Juan Sifon, making the score, 1-0. If Wilmer Aguirrez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Ronald Huezo made the kick off in the second half. Juan Sifon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronald Huezo, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. The supporters of Derry Hill booed when Hayle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilber Mayen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juan Sifon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilmer Aguirrez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erick Corpeño made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giovani Nunes in the 69th minute of play. Ronald Huezo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Juan Sifon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erick Corpeño stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Giovani Nunes's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Erick Corpeño made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Januario Zapata sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Hayle defense, Wilmer Aguirrez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juan Sifon. The Hayle fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juan Sifon should have stopped the shot.
