Hector Palma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Alvarez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Macclesfield FC's goalkeeper Arturo Orellana, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fabio Vasquez might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arturo Orellana. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabio Vasquez ran back to his position shaking his head. Alberto Alvarez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 28th minute, Agustin Uranga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alberto Alvarez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabio Vasquez in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arturo Orellana saved Macclesfield FC from getting behind. Macclesfield FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bude the free kick. A collision led to Macclesfield FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Hector Palma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paolo Liborio in the 80th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paolo Liborio in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hector Palma saved Bude from getting behind. 85 minutes into the match, Bude's goal looked a bit too open when Paolo Liborio came free, but Hector Palma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Alberto Alvarez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hector Palma. Bude's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Alvarez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Macclesfield FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
