Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Primitivo Guevara got the match started through his kick off. After 15 minutes, Adolfo Peña mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Scofton and the Bowburn FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Manuel Mayen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manuel Mayen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Scofton booed when Bowburn FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waldir Galdamez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eraldo Salguero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Primitivo Guevara, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Primitivo Guevara's late challenge caught a Bowburn FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Primitivo Guevara helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Scofton getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Primitivo Guevara hit a great ball. When Jorge Alfaro came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Bowburn FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Alfaro couldn't finish the play. Bowburn FC's Eraldo Salguero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Primitivo Guevara in the 35th minute of play. If Waldir Galdamez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 40 minutes, Isaac Osorio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Scofton and the Bowburn FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Waldir Galdamez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Christian Sandoval's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Selvin Cortez was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. Jorge Alfaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Selvin Cortez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Christian Sandoval made a kick off. Selvin Cortez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Mayen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Deris Larios's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Eraldo Salguero firmly grabbed it by the left post. With a little luck, Bowburn FC's Eraldo Salguero got control of the ball when Deris Larios tried to sneak it across the goal line. Joselito Arellano hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Marvin Portillo hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. A collision led to Bowburn FC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Arturo Pérez hit a great ball. Edgardo Mendez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 73 played minutes Bowburn FC got a freekick which was hit by Marvin Portillo. After having played for 75 minutes, Edgardo Mendez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Scofton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgardo Mendez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 78 minutes into the game, Deris Larios cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Eraldo Salguero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Bowburn FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Marvin Portillo hit a great ball. Eraldo Salguero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgardo Mendez, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 87th match minute, Scofton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adolfo Peña to maneuver through the defense. If Deris Larios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bowburn FC's Christian Sandoval got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 95 played minutes Scofton got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Guevara.
