One of Herradura AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Los Chiles:s goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Uriel Valverde got free with Ramon Burgos in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aurelio Cubero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Minor Murillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Los Chiles's goalkeeper Ramon Burgos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vicente Camacho. Buenaventura Acuña struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Ramon Burgos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Herradura AFC. 25 minutes into the game, Herradura AFC's Vicente Camacho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ramon Burgos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Aurelio Cubero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Minor Murillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute Buenaventura Acuña shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramon Burgos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vicente Camacho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramon Burgos having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mariano Pineda was the one to do the kick off. Minor Murillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Pineda in the 52nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aurelio Cubero got free with Minor Murillo in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 55th minute, Buenaventura Acuña made a precise shot to the right of Ramon Burgos. Los Chiles's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. When Herradura AFC's Buenaventura Acuña in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Los Chiles's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Herradura AFC booed when Los Chiles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonel Lara didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute, Anacleto Padilla sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Los Chiles's Ramon Burgos didn't even have to move. Ramon Burgos came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Herradura AFC's Buenaventura Acuña. But to his dismay, Buenaventura Acuña quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. If Buenaventura Acuña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Minor Murillo came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Los Chiles's Aurelio Cubero. But to his dismay, Aurelio Cubero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Aurelio Cubero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 92 minutes into the game, Vicente Camacho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Ramon Burgos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 97th minute Mariano Pineda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Minor Murillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
