Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Fidel Pineda took the kick off in the first half of the match. Willie Mendez took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cid Quesada. Cid Quesada dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Herberto Centeno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fidel Pineda in the 8th minute of play. 9 minutes into the game, Otilio Ruiz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Perez Zeledon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zancudo FC the free kick. After 9 played minutes Perez Zeledon got a freekick which was hit by Otilio Ruiz. The audience was convinced that Fidel Pineda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Herberto Centeno was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Cid Quesada made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Arias in the 13th minute. In the 16th minute, Fidel Pineda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zancudo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Felix Arias's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cid Quesada read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Herberto Centeno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fidel Pineda, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 24th minute, Willie Mendez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fidel Pineda in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Herberto Centeno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Zancudo FC's Keilor Campos in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Perez Zeledon's goalie prevented a goal. 33 minutes into the match, Zancudo FC's Keilor Campos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Herberto Centeno narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zancudo FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Anselmo Oses 35 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. In the 40th minute, Franklin Kamakiri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cid Quesada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Willie Mendez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anselmo Oses stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fidel Pineda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herberto Centeno having to interfere. If Fidel Pineda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Franklin Kamakiri during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 62nd match minute, Zancudo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franklin Kamakiri to maneuver through the defense. Keilor Campos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Herberto Centeno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67thth minute of the game Fidel Pineda who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Perez Zeledon's Herberto Centeno was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Anselmo Oses took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cid Quesada. Cid Quesada dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Anselmo Oses kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Anselmo Oses struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Cid Quesada didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Perez Zeledon. In the 80th minute Anselmo Oses shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cid Quesada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 85 minutes of play Zancudo FC's Franklin Kamakiri was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 86th match minute, Zancudo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franklin Kamakiri to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute, Hernan Madriz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cid Quesada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Arias, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Anselmo Oses took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cid Quesada.
