Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Pancho Leon kicked off to start the match. Daniel Arce charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniel Arce the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 4 played minutes Ciudad Colon AFC got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Arce. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pancho Leon in the 8th minute of play forced San Carlos AFC's goalkeeper Ronald Rivas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 13 minutes, Pancho Leon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ciudad Colon AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pancho Leon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Pancho Leon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Nery Lehman managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Carlos AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nery Lehman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Agustin Castillo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. San Carlos AFC's Ronald Rivas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pancho Leon in the 24th minute of play. Reynaldo Guerrero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 36 minutes into the game, Pancho Leon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ronald Rivas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ronald Rivas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benito Alpizar in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th match minute, San Carlos AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mainor Parra to maneuver through the defense. In the 48th minute, Clodomiro Ledezma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ciudad Colon AFC's Daniel Arce couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 49th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for San Carlos AFC. The San Carlos AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ciudad Colon AFC were winning 0-1.

Fabricio Sandi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agustin Castillo having to interfere. If Fabricio Sandi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 66 played minutes San Carlos AFC got a freekick which was hit by Reynaldo Guerrero. Reinaldo Heredia kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. After having played for 79 minutes, Bennie Ugalde managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ciudad Colon AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bennie Ugalde was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Ciudad Colon AFC defense, Fabricio Sandi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Agustin Castillo. The Ciudad Colon AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Agustin Castillo should have stopped the shot. 90 minutes into the match, Ciudad Colon AFC's Pancho Leon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ronald Rivas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ciudad Colon AFC's Agustin Castillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clodomiro Ledezma in the 93rd minute of play. Fabricio Sandi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agustin Castillo having to interfere. Ronald Rivas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pancho Leon went, in the 98th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ciudad Colon AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
