Orotina FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Darien Barahona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Uriel Talamanca in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ronald Rivas saved San Carlos AFC from getting behind. Napoleon Madrigal was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 94th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Orotina FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
