Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Inocencio Avila started the match with the kick off. Inocencio Avila recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Herberto Burgos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Nestor Duarte made a huge save. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Grecia's goalkeeper Nestor Duarte, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Inocencio Avila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Nestor Duarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Grecia's Ulises Guardia got a free kick in the 14th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Tres Rios's Chunche Redondo tried to score from far away in the 15th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Anselmo Naranjo fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Grecia's protests and gave Anselmo Naranjo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th match minute Chunche Redondo ran free in the middle of the field and shot a long shot which scored behind a totally surprised Nestor Duarte. 1-0. 22 minutes into the match, Julio Gaitan notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Tres Rios's Alvaro Luna. Alvaro Luna was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 30 minutes into the match, Tres Rios's goal looked a bit too open when Bryan Villalobos came free, but Alvaro Luna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Edgar Valverde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Gaitan scored 1-2 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alvaro Luna, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Tres Rios defense, Julio Gaitan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alvaro Luna. The Tres Rios fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alvaro Luna should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Bryan Villalobos made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julio Gaitan got free with Alvaro Luna in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 68 minutes into the match, Grecia's goal looked a bit too open when Inocencio Avila came free, but Nestor Duarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Inocencio Avila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgar Valverde hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 75th minute, Mikael Chaclar sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Tres Rios's Alvaro Luna didn't even have to move. Bryan Villalobos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bryan Villalobos got in the 80th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Alvaro Luna handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. When Edgar Valverde fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The supporters of Grecia booed when Tres Rios was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar Valverde didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tres Rios's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Bryan Villalobos 87 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-4. After having played for 91 minutes, Julio Gaitan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grecia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julio Gaitan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 96 minutes, Inocencio Avila managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
