Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Vicente Monge made the kick off which started today's match. Roy Jimenez charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roy Jimenez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Abelardo Jimenez came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Orosi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abelardo Jimenez couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Orosi's Salvador Guardia got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Orosi's goalkeeper Otton Porras, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 24th minute Mariano Azofeifa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otton Porras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Otton Porras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Azofeifa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Otton Porras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Monge in the 30th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leopoldo Fallas during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Otton Porras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Monge in the 36th minute of the match. Otton Porras stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mariano Azofeifa's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. After 38 played minutes Orosi got a freekick which was hit by Roy Jimenez. 41 minutes into the match, Orosi's Walter Tenorio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Otto Alfaro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Tilaran FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Keylor Borbon hit a great ball. In the 45th match minute, Tilaran FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dennis Mondragon to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Walter Tenorio to strike the kick off in the second half. Tilaran FC's Otto Alfaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walter Tenorio in the 52nd minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Orosi's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Monge came free, but Otton Porras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abelardo Jimenez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otto Alfaro having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vicente Monge in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Otton Porras saved Orosi from getting behind. Orosi's Otton Porras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Monge in the 94th minute of play. Otton Porras stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vicente Monge's shot from short distance in the 98th minute.
