Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Jason Tenorio made the kick off and thus started the match. The supporters of Los Chiles booed when Quepos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andres Ortega didn't get a good kick on the ball. Quepos's Leonel Sandi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jason Tenorio in the 6th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jason Tenorio in the 8th minute of play forced Quepos's goalkeeper Leonel Sandi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Los Chiles's goal looked a bit too open when Vinicio Amador came free, but Stanley Huertas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angel Cantillo in the 15th minute of play forced Quepos's goalkeeper Leonel Sandi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute of the match, Andres Mesa got a very nice opportunity to score, but Stanley Huertas was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Javier Jarquin hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. The Los Chiles fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Los Chiles's Jason Tenorio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 28th minute, Quepos's Andres Mesa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Andres Ortega got his second yellow card in the match during the 31st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Angel Cantillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Andres Mesa made the kick off in the second half. Angel Cantillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elvis Heredia hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Andres Mesa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andres Mesa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Stanley Huertas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 73 minutes, Donald Lozano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Chiles and the Quepos players grew even worse after the yellow card. After recieving a nice pass, Quepos's Valentin Kamakiri tried to score from far away in the 74th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 82 played minutes Quepos got a freekick which was hit by Vinicio Amador. Leonel Sandi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jason Tenorio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jason Tenorio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonel Sandi having to interfere. Jason Tenorio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Andres Mesa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
