Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Alex Heredia hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angel Cantillo got free with Asdrubal Lobo in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Stanley Huertas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edwin Arroyo, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Isidoro Montoya's late challenge caught a Los Chiles's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isidoro Montoya helped the player get up and apologised. In the 7th minute, Isidoro Montoya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 9th minute Bernardo Echavarria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stanley Huertas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angel Cantillo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Asdrubal Lobo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Asdrubal Lobo made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Angel Cantillo sent off a good shot on target. Stanley Huertas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardo Echavarria, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 24 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Los Chiles's Jason Tenorio fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. After 34 played minutes San Jose got a freekick which was hit by Edwin Arroyo. Asdrubal Lobo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jason Tenorio's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. 38 minutes into the match, San Jose's Bernardo Echavarria sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stanley Huertas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Humberto Soto during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edwin Arroyo made a kick off. Los Chiles's Stanley Huertas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edwin Arroyo in the 52nd minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, San Jose's goal looked a bit too open when Jason Tenorio came free, but Asdrubal Lobo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Angel Cantillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Edwin Arroyo managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Jose's supporters rose to their feet, but Edwin Arroyo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stanley Huertas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Los Chiles's Jason Tenorio in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye San Jose's goalie prevented a goal. Angel Cantillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Asdrubal Lobo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jason Tenorio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Asdrubal Lobo having to interfere. After 77 played minutes San Jose got a freekick which was hit by Isidoro Montoya. Jason Tenorio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Asdrubal Lobo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Stanley Huertas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edwin Arroyo in the 80th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Los Chiles had won after a very even match.
