Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leonel Gallo started the match with the kick off. After 4 played minutes Atenas FC got a freekick which was hit by Angelin Medina. Cesar Ayala kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Leonel Gallo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fabio Palacios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arsenio Maldonado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cesar Hernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Volio in the 24th minute of play. Arsenio Maldonado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesar Hernandez having to interfere. A collision led to Dominical FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Cesar Ayala hit a great ball. In the 34th minute Leonel Gallo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Efrain Saenz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 37 played minutes Dominical FC got a freekick which was hit by Javier Zamora. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabio Palacios got free with Efrain Saenz in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Dominical FC's Emiliano Aguilar got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 42nd minute of the match Rafael Guillen sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Efrain Saenz skillfully saved the ball. Cesar Hernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arsenio Maldonado in the 43rd minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arsenio Maldonado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Atenas FC's goalkeeper Cesar Hernandez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victor Volio. Victor Volio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Cesar Hernandez made a huge save. In the 60th minute, Leonel Gallo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Javier Zamora came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Dominical FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Javier Zamora couldn't finish the play. Victor Volio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor Volio got free with Cesar Hernandez in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Leonel Gallo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Atenas FC's Leonel Gallo in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dominical FC's goalie prevented a goal. Victor Volio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cesar Hernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arsenio Maldonado, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. 89 minutes into the game, Javier Zamora was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dominical FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atenas FC the free kick. Javier Zamora hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Arsenio Maldonado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesar Hernandez having to interfere.
