Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ramon Granados got the match started through his kick off. After having played for 5 minutes, Ramon Granados managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Chiles's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ramon Granados was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Playa Hermosa's Salomon Centeno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramon Granados in the 8th minute of play. In the 9thth minute of the game Ramon Granados who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Playa Hermosa's Salomon Centeno was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Salomon Centeno stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ramon Granados's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. If Fabricio Cantillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabricio Cantillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernan Cisneros having to interfere. Guillermo Jara's late challenge caught a Playa Hermosa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guillermo Jara helped the player get up and apologised. Guillermo Jara kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Hernan Cisneros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafa Azofeifa in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes into the game, Buenaventura Centeno was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Playa Hermosa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Chiles the free kick. After a rather tough play, Playa Hermosa's Buenaventura Centeno got a free kick in the 26th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Playa Hermosa's goal looked a bit too open when Nery Madrigal came free, but Salomon Centeno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Los Chiles getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Nery Madrigal hit a great ball. After 34 played minutes Playa Hermosa got a freekick which was hit by Martin Alpizar. If Nery Madrigal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fabricio Cantillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Rafa Azofeifa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 43 played minutes Playa Hermosa got a freekick which was hit by Pepe Palma.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rafa Azofeifa made a kick off. Salomon Centeno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramon Granados in the 59th minute of the match. If Ramon Granados had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Ramon Granados's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Salomon Centeno was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. In the 63rd match minute, Playa Hermosa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Buenaventura Centeno to maneuver through the defense. Hernan Cisneros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabricio Cantillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Salomon Centeno made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nery Madrigal in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute, Buenaventura Centeno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ramon Granados came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Los Chiles fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramon Granados couldn't finish the play. In the 76th match minute, Playa Hermosa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mainor Sarmiento to maneuver through the defense. After 77 played minutes Nery Madrigal rounded Playa Hermosa's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-1. Ramon Granados sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Los Chiles had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
