Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Miguel Ortiz started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Minor Vindas in the 5th minute of play forced Los Chiles's goalkeeper Leonel Chavarria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Los Chiles booed when Kamuk FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julio Vindas didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Ortiz in the 11th minute of play forced Kamuk FC's goalkeeper Minor Barquero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miguel Hurtado hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Leonel Chavarria stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chico Rojas's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Ortiz in the 23rd minute of play forced Kamuk FC's goalkeeper Minor Barquero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Los Chiles's Roy Sanabria couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 27th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Kamuk FC. After a defensive mix-up in Los Chiles's zone, Chico Rojas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonel Chavarria came out of the goal and Chico Rojas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 33 minutes into the match, Kamuk FC's Minor Vindas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leonel Chavarria narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 38 minutes into the match, Los Chiles's goal looked a bit too open when Minor Vindas came free, but Leonel Chavarria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Minor Vindas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonel Chavarria having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

In the 53rd minute of the match Kamuk FC got a corner. Los Chiles's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Julio Vindas ran over to the corner to take the kick. Leonel Chavarria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Minor Vindas, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Miguel Hurtado charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Miguel Hurtado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Chico Rojas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kamuk FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Chico Rojas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonel Chavarria breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Through an outstanding action, after 65 minutes, Leonel Chavarria successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Minor Barquero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Ortiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Leonel Chavarria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Minor Vindas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonel Chavarria stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Minor Vindas's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. After 76 played minutes Los Chiles got a freekick which was hit by Minor Pineda. In the 79th minute, Chico Rojas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 81st minute of the match, Minor Vindas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Leonel Chavarria saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Chico Rojas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 84thth minute, Leonel Chavarria skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 89th match minute, Los Chiles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul Flores to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Minor Vindas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonel Chavarria was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Kamuk FC's Minor Vindas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leonel Chavarria. That made the score 1-1 after 95 minutes of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
