After a defensive mix-up in Paquera's zone, Isidoro Burgos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Irvin Figueroa came out of the goal and Isidoro Burgos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Platanillo AFC's attack was well implemented in the 13th minute, but when Guido Camacho was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. With his leg Irvin Figueroa managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when Platanillo AFC's Isidoro Burgos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 18 played minutes Paquera got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Centeno. In the 19th minute, Fabricio Cordero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Cesar Bonilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isidoro Burgos got free with Irvin Figueroa in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Irvin Figueroa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guido Camacho, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 45th minute, Isidoro Burgos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guido Camacho made a kick off. After having played for 60 minutes, Guido Camacho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Platanillo AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guido Camacho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Irvin Figueroa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guido Camacho's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. Platanillo AFC's Leo Padilla got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Platanillo AFC fully deserved thier win.
