Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Saul Lopez to make the kick off. Ciudad Quesada FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guacimo the free kick. A collision led to Ciudad Quesada FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Cid Medina hit a great ball. Saul Lopez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Heredia having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Alexander Hurtado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guacimo's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexander Hurtado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Humberto Heredia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Guacimo supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ciudad Quesada FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Ciudad Quesada FC.
