Martin Contreras hit a great ball. 15 minutes into the game, Jesus Vega was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tilaran's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San Ramon FC the free kick. After 15 played minutes Tilaran got a freekick which was hit by Jesus Vega. Alonzo Azofeifa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Rosabal having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, San Ramon FC's goalkeeper Alex Rosabal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abelardo Bermudez. Salomon Hurtado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Heriberto Rosabal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Francisco Portuguez during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 33 played minutes San Ramon FC got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Portuguez. San Ramon FC's Alex Rosabal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alonzo Azofeifa in the 35th minute of play. Abelardo Bermudez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alex Rosabal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alonzo Azofeifa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

In the 51st minute, Abelardo Bermudez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tilaran's Alonzo Azofeifa got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Heriberto Rosabal in the 56th minute of play forced Tilaran's goalkeeper Salomon Hurtado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Tomas Garro came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the San Ramon FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Garro couldn't finish the play. In the 67thth minute of the game Abelardo Bermudez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but San Ramon FC's Alex Rosabal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 70 minutes into the game, Alonzo Azofeifa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Alex Rosabal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Tilaran getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Pancho Arnaez hit a great ball. Abelardo Bermudez might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alex Rosabal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abelardo Bermudez ran back to his position shaking his head. 86 minutes into the game, Alvaro Colon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tilaran's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San Ramon FC the free kick. In the 86th minute, Alvaro Colon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th match minute, Tilaran was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alonzo Azofeifa to maneuver through the defense. Edgar Navarro kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. After 96 played minutes, Tilaran's Alvaro Colon shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alex Rosabal came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tilaran reached it.
