San Ramon FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Madrid CF the free kick. After a rather tough play, San Ramon FC's Heriberto Rosabal got a free kick in the 15th minute. If Pablo Blen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rigoberto Carvajal kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Tomas Garro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidoro Gaitan having to interfere. Isidoro Gaitan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heriberto Rosabal in the 28th minute of play. Rafael Mesa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 32 minutes into the match, San Ramon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Mesa came free, but Alex Rosabal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafael Mesa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Rosabal having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Leopoldo Mora hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Rafael Mesa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. In the 39th match minute, San Ramon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Portuguez to maneuver through the defense. Pablo Blen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Alex Rosabal made a huge save. Rafael Mesa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Alex Rosabal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Heriberto Rosabal to make the kick off. 0-1 became the score in the 54th minute when Tomas Garro elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. A collision led to San Ramon FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Andres Segura hit a great ball. Isidoro Gaitan stood somewhat misplaced when Tomas Garro came free in front of goal and shot 0-2 to the left of him in the 59 minute. In the 64th minute Heriberto Rosabal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoro Gaitan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Heriberto Rosabal in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isidoro Gaitan saved Real Madrid CF from getting behind. Tomas Garros short, quick shot in the 72ndth minute got Isidoro Gaitan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in San Ramon FC's zone, Rafael Mesa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alex Rosabal came out of the goal and Rafael Mesa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 76 in the game by Tomas Garro from a close distance when the talented Isidoro Gaitan managed to make a qualified save. Real Madrid CF's players were relieved. Rafael Mesa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Rosabal having to interfere. If Rigoberto Carvajal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. San Ramon FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
