Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rafael Ulate got the match started through his kick off. 7 minutes into the match, Burtonwood's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Ulate came free, but Nestor Chavarria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 13 minutes, Rafael Ulate managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chacarita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafael Ulate was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Burtonwood's Otto Morales suffered a concussion in the 14th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. After 14 minutes, Beto Redondo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chacarita and the Burtonwood players grew even worse after the yellow card. 14 minutes into the game, one of Chacarita:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 20 played minutes Burtonwood got a freekick which was hit by Roy Alpizar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hector Obando during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Chacarita's Hector Obando got a free kick in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Ulate in the 30th minute of play forced Burtonwood's goalkeeper Nestor Chavarria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Asdrubal Santamaria struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Nestor Chavarria didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chacarita. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafael Ulate couldn't finish the play. Asdrubal Santamaria blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nestor Chavarria having to make a save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Berny Matute stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nelson Miranda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 54th match minute, Burtonwood was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clodomiro Coronado to maneuver through the defense. Rafael Ulate sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Berny Matute ran back to his position shaking his head. 81 minutes into the game, Asdrubal Santamaria recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nestor Chavarria. Asdrubal Santamaria showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. Burtonwood's Nestor Chavarria proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Burtonwood from getting a goal against them. Rafael Ulate fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Chavarria having to interfere. Burtonwood's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
