Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Heriberto Sandi took the kick off in the first half of the match. El Carmen FC's Federico Calderon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save El Carmen FC from getting a goal against them. Heriberto Sandi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wilmer Ledezma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. El Carmen FC's Abel Vanderlat got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Rene Hurtado fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zancudo's protests and gave Rene Hurtado a yellow card for diving instead. After 16 played minutes Zancudo got a freekick which was hit by Rene Hurtado. El Carmen FC's Virgilio Garro couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 17th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Zancudo. Wilmer Ledezma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Federico Calderon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Zancudo's Federico Calderon threw himself towards the right post 22 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bernie Cantillo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Zancudo were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after El Carmen FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bernie Cantillo took the corner. Federico Calderon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wilmer Ledezma's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. After 39 played minutes Zancudo got a freekick which was hit by Fello Palacios. After 47 minutes, Diego Vanderlat mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Carmen FC and the Zancudo players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 47th minute, Diego Vanderlat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wilmer Ledezma stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Abel Vanderlat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Brian Caballero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, El Carmen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wilmer Ledezma came free, but Federico Calderon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernie Cantillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 64 minutes into the match, Zancudo's Wilmer Ledezma sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Federico Calderon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 66 minutes into the match, Zancudo's goal looked a bit too open when Heriberto Sandi came free, but Brian Caballero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Wilmer Ledezma came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Zancudo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilmer Ledezma couldn't finish the play. When Zancudo's Wilmer Ledezma in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye El Carmen FC's goalie prevented a goal. Federico Calderon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilmer Ledezma, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Brian Caballero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heriberto Sandi in the 77th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, El Carmen FC's Roy Amador got a free kick in the 78th minute. Brian Caballero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Heriberto Sandi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The long shot by Joaquin Bermudez in the 90th minute really tested Brian Caballero's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Virgilio Garro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 98th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Brian Caballero. Zancudo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Zancudo players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
