Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The audience was convinced that Wilmer Ledezma's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Reinaldo Gamboa was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. In the 6th minute Bernie Cantillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reinaldo Gamboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wilmer Ledezma in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reinaldo Gamboa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 13 played minutes Limon FC got a freekick which was hit by Willy Peña. Bernie Cantillo missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 15 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Reinaldo Gamboa right hand side. Reinaldo Gamboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilmer Ledezma in the 18th minute of the match. Napoleon Rivera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reinaldo Gamboa having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Wilmer Ledezma ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Reinaldo Gamboa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 47th match minute, Limon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raul Arguedas to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Rosabal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Frank Rosabal scored 1-1 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Brian Caballero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 61 played minutes Limon FC got a freekick which was hit by Raul Arguedas. Wilmer Ledezma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reinaldo Gamboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilmer Ledezma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bernardo Carazo during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 71 played minutes Limon FC got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Carazo. With a little luck, Limon FC's Reinaldo Gamboa got control of the ball when Wilmer Ledezma tried to sneak it across the goal line. Brian Caballero came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Limon FC's Frank Rosabal. But to his dismay, Frank Rosabal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 90th match minute, Limon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank Rosabal to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th minute Wilmer Ledezma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reinaldo Gamboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute, Limon FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Bernie Cantillo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Limon FC's Reinaldo Gamboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Limon FC from getting a goal against them. In the 95th match minute, Limon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauricio Soto to maneuver through the defense. The Limon FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
