Mundo Coco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xever Ser having to interfere. After 7 played minutes Cocotea FC got a freekick which was hit by Constantino Juaristi. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Alfonso Sanes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cocotea FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfonso Sanes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xever Ser breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mundo Coco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xever Ser having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Alfonso Sanes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Xever Ser was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Ospin Arada's late challenge caught a Cocotea FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ospin Arada helped the player get up and apologised. Mundo Coco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Xever Ser tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Cordera Comas fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Challanca's protests and gave Cordera Comas a yellow card for diving instead. In the 25th match minute, Challanca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cordera Comas to maneuver through the defense. Mundo Coco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Xever Ser tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xever Ser took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Sanes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Candido Roza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cocotea FC's Alfonso Sanes got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 59th match minute, Challanca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ospin Arada to maneuver through the defense. Lekubegi Almaraz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Xever Ser made a huge save. Marques Gaona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saturnino Escalada in the 62nd minute of play. In the 66th minute, Fertus Tricio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 74 minutes, Mundo Coco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cocotea FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mundo Coco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Mundo Coco came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Cocotea FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mundo Coco couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Sanes in the 80th minute of play forced Challanca's goalkeeper Xever Ser to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute, Cocotea FC's Lekubegi Almaraz seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Lekubegi Almaraz the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Cocotea FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Lekubegi Almaraz had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 82nd minute of the game. One of Cocotea FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Challanca:s goal. After 85 minutes of play, Challanca's Ospin Arada made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marques Gaona was left in no man's land by his defense there! Xever Ser made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Mundo Coco sent off a good shot on target. Marques Gaona showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saturnino Escalada in the 98th minute of the match. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Challanca were victorious despite being under pressure from Cocotea FC for much of the match.
