Cochayoc's Dayam Trillanes managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ciano Herrada in the 8 minute of the game. In the 12th minute Maureo Collante suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 12 minutes, Azeari Quicedo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cochayoc and the Huancarire FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Porfirio Recasens struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Xuban Rozas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Huancarire FC. Cochayoc's Xuban Rozas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Cochayoc from getting a goal against them. In the 24th minute, Merexildo Bolimburu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 36th minute, Luis Jordo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cochayoc's attentive Gil Urruchua managed to snatch the ball when Gervaso Artigue made a throw-in in the 42nd minute of the game. Jacindo Hero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Azeari Quicedo in the 45th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Azeari Quicedo to make the kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Eguerdi Almonte in the 51st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Cochayoc's Dayam Trillanes. The throw-in from Gervaso Artigue in the 62nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Cochayoc's Dayam Trillanes. Jurdan Zaldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cochayoc's Xuban Rozas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karlos Infante in the 68th minute of play. Vidal Algara charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vidal Algara the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 71 played minutes Cochayoc got a freekick which was hit by Vidal Algara. Despite being the better team, Huancarire FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
