Mercurio Yunibarbia charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mercurio Yunibarbia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Cahuide getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Mercurio Yunibarbia hit a great ball. In the 13th minute Gau Marimon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isadoro Villarmerin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosme Ybañez in the 15th minute of play forced Yunga FC's goalkeeper Teyo Tarabejano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cahuide's Nevada Montoto got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cosme Ybañez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 21 minutes into the game, Gumaro Remolino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yunga FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cahuide the free kick. After 22 played minutes, Cahuide's Elodio Ontaneda shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Teyo Tarabejano came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cahuide reached it. In the 46th minute Gregory Iturralde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teyo Tarabejano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teyo Tarabejano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregory Iturralde in the 48th minute of the match. The Yunga FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cahuide were winning 0-2.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gau Marimon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gregory Iturralde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teyo Tarabejano having to interfere. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Yunga FC's goalkeeper Teyo Tarabejano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cosme Ybañez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teyo Tarabejano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Teyo Tarabejano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosme Ybañez, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Isadoro Villarmerin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gau Marimon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute, Gau Marimon made a precise shot to the right of Isadoro Villarmerin. Cahuide's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Gregory Iturralde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Cahuide's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
