Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Patxi Bajo managed to get in a good position for a shot. ALIANZA LIMA's supporters rose to their feet, but Patxi Bajo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Franko Peiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gonzales Irigoyen hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After having played for 38 minutes, Salvador Padron managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ALIANZA LIMA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Salvador Padron was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oliver Mellberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Behe Ruiloba in the 42nd minute of play. Gonzales Irigoyen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oliver Mellberg having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Salvador Padron made the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes ALIANZA LIMA got a freekick which was hit by Patxi Bajo. Behe Ruiloba could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Oliver Mellberg made a huge save. Bladi Lin kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nalo Ochotorena in the 60th minute of play forced Cononaca's goalkeeper Franko Peiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th match minute, ALIANZA LIMA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nalo Ochotorena to maneuver through the defense. ALIANZA LIMA's Luzea Motrico was substituted for Salvador Padron. A collision led to ALIANZA LIMA getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Nalo Ochotorena hit a great ball. Behe Ruiloba might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oliver Mellberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Behe Ruiloba ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of ALIANZA LIMA booed when Cononaca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonzales Irigoyen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nalo Ochotorena hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Gonzales Irigoyen's late challenge caught a ALIANZA LIMA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gonzales Irigoyen helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Cononaca getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Gonzales Irigoyen hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Luzea Motrico's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Franko Peiro was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Luzea Motrico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Franko Peiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The long shot by Bladi Lin in the 97th minute really tested Oliver Mellberg's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Cononaca players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
