If Sebastian Juvenal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Denis Gipuzkoa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 26th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, ARLO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Denis Gipuzkoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. In the 62nd minute Sebastian Juvenal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Luis Andino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Denis Gipuzkoa. ARLO FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luis Andino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. After a defensive mix-up in ARLO FC's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Denis Gipuzkoa came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cipriano Gilabert in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Felix Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Denis Gipuzkoa made a huge save. After a rather tough play, ARLO FC's David Meringgi got a free kick in the 75th minute. With a little luck, ARLO FC's Denis Gipuzkoa got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 80th minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net.
