Enaut Galanes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Machado Alcazar having to interfere. If Maurino Cucho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maurino Cucho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Meendez Cerio during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jahuasicucho FC's Gabrio Elizalde got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Jahuasicucho FC's Gabrio Elizalde got a free kick in the 26th minute. After 28 played minutes, Chaclayo FC's Bladi Sorriba shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Maura Olañeta came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Chaclayo FC reached it. Gabrio Elizalde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enaut Galanes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Machado Alcazar having to interfere. After 43 minutes, Maurino Cucho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chaclayo FC and the Jahuasicucho FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 43rd match minute, Chaclayo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maurino Cucho to maneuver through the defense. Enaut Galanes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Machado Alcazar having to interfere. Machado Alcazar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabrio Elizalde, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Chaclayo FC's Machado Alcazar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Ayllon in the 59th minute of play. After 65 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Jahuasicucho FC! In the 72nd minute, Maurino Cucho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Chaclayo FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 75th minute. Penalty! In the 82nd minute, Lehoi Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Calixto Bono kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. When Gabrio Elizalde, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 88 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Machado Alcazar was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. When Maurino Cucho came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Chaclayo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maurino Cucho couldn't finish the play. Machado Alcazar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Enaut Galanes's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. In the 95th minute, Gabrio Elizalde got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Maurino Cucho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Maura Olañeta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
